War of the Worlds: blog spamming

@ 05:33 PM (36 months, 13 days ago)
http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/8712/waroftheworlds0qg.jpgThis topic is no news. Blog spamming (WIKI) emerged as the natural tendency of human polution, and extended like a disease in the blogging world. Naturally, blogHi could not avoid this phenomen, and recently the list of latest blogHi posts was filled with spam. Spam blogs are not that difficult to identify, they have usually no content at all and contain nothing but links to other websites. Recently more advanced spammers use a small javascript code to redirect the web visitors directly to the destination website, a shameful practice from the black hat toolset.

BlogHi opened its doors to Chinese and German bloggers, and before any serious chinese bloggers came by, spammers came to harvest the field and plant their red grass. We took action and these blogs are now removed. It's a shame that there are so few real and serious bloggers, compared to an army of spammers.

We here at blogHi do not read submitted content, but when it affects the operation of the website, we must take action. Please contact us if you see similar spam blogs so we can keep the small blogHi world clean.
